Well isn't that just wonderful! Hey you know something? You can buy prints at the BlueMunky store of some of your favorite prints (at this time the store isn't fully operational thanks to a little trouble with some rebel scum). She was standing on the stairs at the time, right near where I had a bunch of paintings stacked up. Luckily only one painting was puked on, this one HERE! and only the back got puke on it as the painting had fallen over. I won't have any new paintings up for the next couple weeks as I'm leaving on a cruise next Thursday and will be getting married down in the Caribbean. So to all 3 of you who visit here, I love you.

Poetry Blow a Tree.

Read the writing on the wall, it's written there for us all. it says "hey kids come out and play" but inside is where we stay.Hiding from the sun we are, you're an idiot if you believe it's a star. The days the nights the girls the fights, we drink, we smoke, and we’ve all gone broke.Spending time in the water, spending time in your daughter. All the pain in her eyes, washes away when she cries. In the end we all die, in the end we all die.

Creative undead.

Or creatively dead, as it were. Every so often I go through these bouts where I feel like all my creative juices have dried up. Or I feel like I have these ideas in my head but I can't "see" them I can't get them out. I think the problem is my day job. It's Oatmeal colored office work, bland and tasteless. I feel that while I'm stuck here listening to the office chatter about TV shows I don't watch or celebrities I don't care about I could be off somewhere, painting or sculpting. Thinking about this depresses me, because I realize that no matter how much I'd like to live a life filled with art and free thinking, I'm stuck here at this job. The problem is, you can't live in this world without money, and I've yet to find a way to make a living with my art, now if that ever happened I'd be happier than a pig in shit, but for now I'm just in shit.

Maybe some day I'll break free from this invisible prison and live a life worth living, until then it's back to the grind for me.

I really can't think of anything to say...

Finished a bunch of new paintings last night!
So I had these six or so paintings that I've been screwing with over the last couple weeks. Normally I start a painting and finish it that night or the following day. Lately though I've been working on more than one piece at a time, I like this method better as it gives me a break from one piece while I work on another.

Well if you're interested in checking these out you can find them all here: Newer paintings start at the top left...

Or you can buy some art from my store: BlueMunky.com

Wake up!

I had this awesome idea for an invention on my way into work this morning (not true, I wrote this a few weeks back on a forum I like to visit). I want an alarm clock that when you go to bed you don't set what time you want to get up, but you tell it what time you have to be to work and how much time you need to get ready.

Example: Work: 8:00am Time Needed: 30min.

Ok, now for the fun part. This is how I imagine the alarm working. While you lay there sleeping soundly the alarm clock would be collecting a constant stream of data (either through wifi or radio signal) about local traffic commute times. This data would then be used by the alarm clock to calculate the amount of time needed to travel from your home to your place of work. Using this information the alarm would then wake you up at a time that would take into account the amount of time needed to get ready, the time you need to be at work and the most up to date commute information. Therefore saving you from ever being late to work due to unexpected weather or a massive traffic jam.

What do you think?

What the blog?

I know what you're thinking, because I'm telepathic.
Ok, not really but if I was that would be awesome! Hello, and welcome to the BlueMunky Blog. The reason I decided to make a blog for this art site was so that I could quickly and easily keep the 3 to 4 unique visitors to my site updated on what I'm up to. But not just that, see I have this brain and it's chock full of crazy ideas, everyday it's something new and if I don't get these ideas out of my head then I start to forget them as new ones enter. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize in advance for my writing skills (or lack thereof), I always check my spelling but my sentence structure tends to be atrocious.

[Go to BlueMunky.com] [Check out the art I have for sale]
